I think it is suppose to be one of those “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” kinda things. Definitely a more interesting way of putting it though.

i think the water lily and onion are actually related, so it sort of makes sense

I’m writing this story, the title is “Tasting Water Lilies” (c)2008 I wanted to find out how I could incoorperate the title to the acuall story and I came across the thing about the fourntune cookie. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! I finally know how the story ends and why it’s called “Tasting Water Lilies”. THANKS A MILL…;)

I’ve received this one too. Though I understand what it implies I couldn’t help thinking perhaps there is a sad person out there that misses their flowers I mistakenly consumed due to my poor taste buds and blindness.
