Wiggle

Life is not a struggle. It's a wiggle.

I’ve tried to come up with a snappy punchline for this one, but I just flat out do not understand it. Maybe the author is just a really big fan of these guys. Anybody who explains it wins a wary look.

  1. Allright here is my stab at that. It is weird but maybe it is something to do with, Life is a struggle but saying maybe we need to make little steps in life. Also saying life is to hard to take all at once we have to wiggle through it. Or maybe they meant we have to Lie “wiggle” through life. It could be compared to something that wiggels like a worm or catapillar sometimes to get to what we want and need in life we have to wiggle to it.

  2. But what am I supposed to wiggle?

  3. i had a fortune cookie that said this once.

its a quote from peter mcwilliams

  4. I think this quote means that rather than struggling against life, we should enjoy it (or “wiggle”, if you will). Life is not a fight to the finish; rather, it is a journey.

  5. The meaning is clear enough to me, but after reading the way I tried to define it, I have to wonder..

It’s the whole “think positive” mentality. Wiggling just sounds a lot more fun than struggling. You aren’t struggling, you’re wiggling. It’s the same thing, but they have different connotations. ..?

  6. It’s a Jello ad…

  7. dunno who peter mcwhatever is, but i think what he’s trying to say is that life may seem like a struggle, but it’s really not, like, a bad struggle.

  8. Struggling implies that you have the ability to fight against life, that it is a fight between you and it.

A wiggle implies that life is like an unchanging path that you have to bend and mold yourself around to be able to get through. Like a stone tunnel, its not worth struggling against the tight places when you can wiggle through them

  9. Someone thought “Wiggle…teehee! Funny word. I shall put it in this fortune.”
